We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Gogebic County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Day-to-day duties: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles Rotating shifts.
