Track-type tractor operator — Cambridgeshire

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Cambridgeshire, England. You will be based on a quarry floor. The role involves: • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse You should have: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. £2,450 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
