Concrete labourer wanted in Upson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Upson County, Georgia. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. Requirements: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods The role involves: • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins Performance bonus on top of base pay.
