Heavy equipment operator wanted in Asotin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Asotin County, Washington. You will work at a plant hire yard. Your main tasks: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Full-time with occasional weekends.
