Great opportunity: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Iowa County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces The role involves: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
