Night watchman — Baraga County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a night watchman in Baraga County, Michigan. You will be based at a gated residential society. Ideal candidate: • Clean police verification with no criminal record • Trained in basic fire-fighting and first aid • Basic reading of English and local language for registers The role involves: • Raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency • Check fire exits, locks, gates and seals during rounds • Operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door • Log every visitor and vehicle in the duty register • Control crowds and manage queues at events and entry gates • Operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
