Join our team: we are hiring a blocklayer in Labette County, Kansas. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently On the job you will handle: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $20 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
