Now hiring: we are hiring a laundry presser in Johnston County, North Carolina. You will work in a tailoring workshop. You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Your main tasks: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron Full-time, day shift.
