Lift installation engineer — Hubbard County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Hubbard County, Minnesota. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate The role involves: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
