Great opportunity: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Lauderdale County, Alabama. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. You should have: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of hand and radio signals On a typical shift you will fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL).
