Road roller operator wanted in Tompkins County

Now hiring: we are hiring a road roller operator in Tompkins County, New York. Your main tasks: • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material Ideal candidate: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery 4+ years on the tools preferred.
