Counter butcher — Crawford County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a counter butcher in Crawford County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. On the job you will handle: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
