We are recruiting: we are hiring a precision welder in Quitman County, Georgia. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On a typical shift you will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
