Join our team: we are hiring a demolition labourer in Floyd County, Texas. The job is on a high-rise construction site. Requirements: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker On the job you will handle: • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
