Vacancy available: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Garza County, Texas. You will be based at an auto components factory. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred The role involves: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
