Argon welding operator • Greene County, Pennsylvania

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Greene County, Pennsylvania. Day to day you will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Overtime paid at a premium rate.
