Machine setter-operator — Waldo County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Waldo County, Maine. You will work at an auto-parts workshop. You should have: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor Day to day you will load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges.
