Now hiring: escalator technician (North Carolina)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an escalator technician in Madison County, North Carolina. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. On a typical shift you will run load and overload tests with test weights; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Rotating shifts.
