Moulder wanted in Obion County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a moulder in Obion County, Tennessee. The job is at a busy iron foundry. On the job you will handle: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
