GTAW welder — Pulaski County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Pulaski County, Georgia. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Day-to-day duties: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
