What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown On the job you will handle: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching 2+ years on the tools preferred.
