Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Miller County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety On the job you will handle: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
