HGV driver • Douglas County, Illinois

Now hiring: we are hiring a HGV driver in Douglas County, Illinois. Day to day you will keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels. You should have: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Valid digital tachograph card • Confident with manual handling and load securing Pay around $32 per hour, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
