Now hiring: we are hiring a brick mason in Montgomery County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Your main tasks: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge 6+ years on the tools preferred.
