Lorry driver — Clarke County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lorry driver in Clarke County, Virginia. The job is at a logistics warehouse. Day-to-day duties: • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays What we are looking for: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
