Heavy equipment operator — Covington County

Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Covington County, Alabama. You will work at a road-building project. Day to day you will stockpile and spread material to the required levels; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; check for underground cables and services before digging; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook. What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently 6+ years on the tools preferred.
