Plant operator — Bourbon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a plant operator in Bourbon County, Kansas. You will be based in an open-cast quarry. Your main tasks: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient You should have: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
