Great opportunity: stitching operator (Texas)

Join our team: we are hiring a stitching operator in Cherokee County, Texas. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. The role involves inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Pay around $18 per hour, based on your experience.
