Immediate opening: formwork carpenter (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in City of Buena Vista, Virginia. You will work on a residential housebuilding project. The role involves: • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions What we are looking for: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Own basic hand tools • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
