Brick mason — East Ayrshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a brick mason in East Ayrshire, Scotland. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. On a typical shift you will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
