Bike messenger — Kings County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bike messenger in Kings County, New York. You will be based at a logistics despatch centre. The role involves scan the barcode on every consignment before pick-up and after drop-off; collect cash-on-delivery (COD) payments and reconcile the float at shift end; capture proof of delivery with a customer signature or photo on the handset; plan the fastest route using the delivery app and GPS navigation; call or message customers to confirm the address and drop-off point; refuel the bike and log fuel expenses against each run. What we are looking for: • Smartphone with a working data connection for the delivery app • Ability to ride safely in heavy traffic and in monsoon rain At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
