Production line inspector — Ocean County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a production line inspector in Ocean County, New Jersey. The job is in an automotive parts factory. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges The role involves: • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items Six days a week, one day off.
