Sand plant operator • Cotton County, Oklahoma

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Cotton County, Oklahoma. On a typical shift you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
