Offshore rigger — Nottoway County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Nottoway County, Virginia. You will work at a power plant. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear On the job you will handle: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
