Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Atkinson County, Georgia. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Your main tasks: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) 2+ years on the tools preferred. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
