Lathe programmer-operator — Goochland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Goochland County, Virginia. The job is in a job-work machining unit. You will watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; load and index turning tools in the turret; run first-off inspection and sign off the part. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 2+ years on the tools preferred.
