Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Lawrence County, Indiana. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. You will write and edit G-code programs at the control; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; load and index turning tools in the turret. What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
