CO2 welder • Nangere, Yobe State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Nangere, Yobe State. On the job you will handle: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Meals and transport allowance provided.
