What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements The role involves record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site.
