Vacancy available: cnc lathe operator (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Franklin County, Virginia. You will work in a tool room. Day to day you will write and edit G-code programs at the control; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls 5+ years on the tools preferred.
