Sheet metal welder — Camden County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Camden County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Your main tasks: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
