Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel wireman in Albemarle County, Virginia. You will work on a building construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Test insulation resistance with a megger • Wire single-phase and three-phase distribution boards • Fault-find on motor starters and star-delta panels • Isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Dress and terminate wiring inside control panels Ideal candidate: • Safe handling of live LV circuits and proper PPE use • Sound knowledge of IS wiring and earthing standards • ITI in electrical trade or wireman certificate Rotating shifts.
