Pipe tig welder — Lampasas County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Lampasas County, Texas. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Day to day you will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
