Immediate opening: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Davidson County, Tennessee. You will be based at a civil contractor's yard. Requirements: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) On a typical shift you will grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; refuel the machine and record running hours; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction.
