Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Day-to-day duties: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
