Metal caster — Gilmer County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Gilmer County, Georgia. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Your main tasks: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch 5+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
