Bodywork technician — Floyd County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bodywork technician in Floyd County, Virginia. The job is at an accident repair garage. On a typical shift you will buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
