Immediate opening: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Barton County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Day to day you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes.
