Ideal candidate: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Day-to-day duties: • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
