Production machine operator — Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a production machine operator in Washington County, New York. You will be based in a CNC machine shop. You will follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet. What we are looking for: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
